ج حُصون : قَصْر أو جدارٌ منيع محميّ مجهّز بأسباب الدِّفاع والمقاومة، لا يُتوصَّل إلى ما في داخله، يحتمي به الناس

pl. حُصُون: A well-protected, fortified castle or wall equipped with means of defense and resistance, whose interior is unreachable, and where people take shelter.
حِصْن في غاية المناعة، وهو تعبير للمبالغة، منيع.

An extremely fortified fortress, an exaggerated expression for impregnable.
