مناعة ضدّ السُّمّ
مناعة فاعِلَة : مناعة تنشأ عن نمو أجسام مضادّة في الجسم بعد حقنه بمولد للمضادات
مناعة مُكْتَسَبة : لم يكن لها وجود عند الولادة، بل ظهرت فيما بعد من نشوء أجسام مضادة تجاوبًا مع مولد مضادّ كما في التطعيم ونقل الأجسام المضادّة من الأمِّ إلى الجنين.

(طب) دراسة كيفيّة مقاومة الحيوان والنبات للكائنات الحيّة التي تسبِّب الأمراضَ، أو اكتسابها المناعة على هذه الكائنات.
