جج سُحُب، مف سَحابة : غيْم، سواء أكان فيه ماء أم لم يكن، وسُمِّي بذلك؛ لانسحابه في الهواء، يذكّر ويؤنّث ويفرد ويجمع

Plural of suhub, singular sahabah : Cloud, whether it has water in it or not, it was named so; because of its dragging in the air, used for masculine and feminine, singular and plural (Cloud).

سحاب رُكاميّ طبقيّ : سحاب منخفض مؤلَّف من طبقات أفقيّة بقمم دائريّة
ضحِك السَّحابُ : إذا برق.
