قاطع طريق : لصٌّ يترقب المارة في الطريق ليأخذ ما معهم بالإكراه
قطَع الطَّريقَ : أغلقه، عَبَرَه، سرق المسافرين
قطَع الطَّريقَ عليه : منعه من تنفيذ ما يريد تنفيذه
مفترق الطُّرق : ساعة الفصل والحسم.

A road test conducted for vehicles to determine their roadworthiness, or a driving test for a person seeking a driver's license to assess their driving ability.
Companion before the road: look for your travel companion and test him before taking him along.
By air/by sea: by plane or ship.
Deviated from the path: strayed from it.
Both sides of the road: its edges.
Carved his way: worked hard and succeeded.
Legitimate means: methods that do not violate established laws.
On the roadside/middle of the road: in the middle of it.
On his way: coming or going, traveling.
On his way towards something: heading towards it.
Highwayman/bandit: a thief who waits for passersby on the road to take what they have by force.
Blocked/crossed the road: closed it, crossed it, or robbed travelers.
Blocked his path: prevented him from executing what he wanted to do.
Crossroads: a decisive or critical moment.
