وَريد

ج أَوْرِدة ووُرُد ووُرود : (شر) كُلُّ عِرْق يحمل الدَّمَ الأزرق من الجسد إلى القلب

الوريد التَّاجيّ

(شر) نوع من الأوردة التي تعيد الدَّم من الأنسجة العضليّة للقلب إلى التّجويف القلبيّ.

(Anatomy) Coronary vein; a type of vein that returns blood from the myocardial tissues to the cardiac chambers.

الوريد الأجوف

(شر) أحد الوريدين الرَّئيسيّين اللَّذين ينقلان الدَّم من أعلى الجسم إلى أسفله وينتهي في الأُذين الأيمن من القلب.

الوريد البابيّ

(شر) وريد كبير يتجمَّع فيه الدَّم من أنحاء القناة الهضميّة ويدخل في الكبد ويتفرَّع فيها.

حَبْل الوَريد

(شر) عرق في العنق متصل بالوتين، يُضرب به المثل في القرب

أدنى من حبل الوريد : أقرب إليه منه، كناية عن القرب الشَّديد.

الوَريدان

النَّبض والنَّفَس.

The pulse and the breath.
