(حن) سمكة جسمها ممدود شديد الانضغاط من الجانبين، مقدّمها طويل أحدبُ، وجسمها أملس لا تغطيه القشور، بل توجد على جانبيها صفائح عظميّة أو قشرية ولها زعنفة ظهرية بها ثلاث شوكات قويّة، وهي تعيش في أنهار شمالي أوربا وبالقرب من مصابّها.

(Animal) A fish with an elongated body, highly compressed laterally, its anterior part is long and humped, its body is smooth and not covered with scales, but rather there are bony plates or scutes on its sides, and it has a dorsal fin with three strong spines. It lives in the rivers of Northern Europe and near their estuaries (Stickleback).

(حن) طائر صغير الجسم مضغوطه، مغطى بريش ناعم ذي لونين رماديّ وورديّ، يأوي إلى المناطق الجرداء أو فوق الجبال ويستوطن مصر وبلاد النوبة وبلاد العرب.

(Animal) A small-bodied, compressed bird, covered with soft grey and pink feathers, seeking shelter in arid regions or on mountains, and is native to Egypt, Nubia, and the Arabian Peninsula (Trumpeter finch).
