ج خِرْقات وخِرَق وخُروق :

pl. خِرْقات (khirqat), خِرَق (khiraq), and خُروق (khuruq):

قطعة من الثوب الممزَّق، قطعة من القماش تستخدم للتنظيف والغَسْل ونَفْض الغُبار

A piece of a torn garment, a piece of cloth used for cleaning, washing, and dusting

نقرس، داء المفاصل، عرق النَّسا، داء الملوك.

🇬🇧 Translation:

Gout, joint disease, sciatica, disease of kings.

(سف) ما يلبسه المريد من شيخه الذي دخل في إرادته أو سار على طريقته، وهي تمثل عتبة دخول المريد في صحبة الشيخ الذي يتولّى تربيته وتهذيب أخلاقه وتقويم سلوكه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Sufism) The patched cloak or garment given by a master to a disciple who has entered his spiritual path, representing the threshold of the disciple's entry into the companionship of the master, who takes charge of his spiritual training, refinement of character, and correction of behavior.
