معتقد دينيّ

(Philosophy) A set of opinions, scientific and philosophical theories, some of which are linked to others in a way that makes them a coordinated unit.

المذهب المادِّيّ

(سف) مذهب فلسفيّ يعتبر المادّة الواقع الوحيد وأنّها الجوهر الحقيقيّ وينكر وجود الله والرُّوح، والعالم الآخر.

(Philosophy) A philosophical doctrine that considers matter the only reality and that it is the true essence and denies the existence of God, the soul, and the other world (Materialism).

مذهب الاحتمال

(سف) مذهب يقرِّر أنه من المحال بلوغ اليقين المطلق مع إمكان ترجيح رأي على آخر.

(Philosophy) A doctrine deciding that it is impossible to reach absolute certainty with the possibility of favoring one opinion over another (Probabilism).

مذهب المَنْفَعة

(سف) النظريّة الأخلاقيّة التي تقول إنّ كلّ الأفعال يجب أن توجَّه نحو إحراز القدر الأكبر من السعادة لأكبر عدد من الناس.

(Philosophy) The moral theory that says all actions should be directed towards achieving the greatest amount of happiness for the greatest number of people (Utilitarianism).

مذهب الدِّيموقراطيَّة

(سف) نظام يعني حكم الشعب لنفسه، أو على الأصحّ حكم الفقراء، فهو طريقة في الحياة تجعل كلّ شخص يعتقد أن لديه فرصًا متساوية للمشاركة بحرِّيّة كاملة في قيم المجتمع.

(Philosophy) A system meaning the people's rule of themselves, or more correctly the rule of the poor, so it is a way of life that makes everyone believe they have equal opportunities to participate with full freedom in society's values (Democracy).

مَذْهب الجَبْر

(سف) مذهب يرى أصحابُه أنّ العباد مُجْبَرون على أفعالهم لا اختيار لهم فيها حيث يسندون الفعل إلى الله تعالى، وهو خلاف القدر الذي هو إسناد فعل العبد إليه لا إلى الله تعالى.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Philosophy) A doctrine whose owners see that servants are compelled in their actions, having no choice in them, as they attribute the action to Allah Almighty, which is contrary to Qadar (predestination) which is attributing the servant's action to himself, not to Allah Almighty (Determinism / Fatalism).

مذهب الوِراثيّة

(حي) فرع من علم الأحياء يتناول بالبحث الخصائص الموروثة عند الكائنات الحيّة، أي نقل الوالدين الخصائص التشريحيّة، والوظائفيّة للأولاد.

(Biology) A branch of biology dealing with the research of inherited characteristics in living organisms, i.e., the parents' transfer of anatomical and functional characteristics to children (Genetics).

مذهب التَّفكيكيَّة

(دب) مذهب في دراسة الأدب يعتبر كلَّ قراءة للنّص تفسيرًا جديدًا له، واستحالة التوصّل إلى معنى نهائيّ وكامل لأيِّ نصّ، والتحرُّر من اعتبار النصِّ كائنًا مغلقًا ومستقلاًّ بعالمه.

(Literature) A doctrine in the study of literature considering every reading of the text a new interpretation of it, and the impossibility of reaching a final and complete meaning of any text, and liberation from considering the text a closed entity independent of its world (Deconstructionism).

المذهب التَّكعيبيّ

(فن) اتِّجاه فنِّيّ قوامه التَّعبير عن الأشياء بأشكال هندسيّة بعد إعادة صياغتها حسب رؤية الفنّان فيتحوَّل الرَّسمُ إلى ما يكاد يكون كائنًا جديدًا.

(Art) An artistic trend based on expressing things in geometric shapes after reformulating them according to the artist's vision, so the drawing turns into what is almost a new entity (Cubism).

مذهب الدَّاديَّة

(فن) مذهب في الفنّ والأدب انتشر واستهدف الدعوة إلى الحرِّيَّة المُطلقة والثورة على التقاليد، وقد مهّد الطريقَ أمام السرياليّة وغيرها من الحركات المتطرِّفة.

(Art) A doctrine in art and literature that spread and aimed to call for absolute freedom and revolt against traditions, and it paved the way for surrealism and other extremist movements (Dadaism).

(فق) الحنفيّ، والمالكيّ، والشَّافعيّ، والحنبليّ
