مدارة المؤمن للكافر باللِّسان خلاف ما ينطوي عليه قلبه خوفًا على نفسه

A believer's dissimulation toward an unbeliever with his tongue, contrary to what is in his heart, out of fear for his safety
(سف) إخفاء الحقّ ومصانعة النّاس والتّظاهر بغير ما يُعتقد فيه خوفًا من البطش أو الظُّلم.
🇬🇧 Translation:
Concealing the truth, smoothing things over with people, and feigning beliefs other than one's own out of fear of oppression or tyranny.
