Plural: (waliyyun) and (awliya), feminine: (waliyyah), feminine plural: (walaya).
كلُّ من كُلِّف بأمرٍ أو قام به
🇬🇧 Translation:
Anyone entrusted with or executing a matter.

People in authority. (Wali Allah): One who obeys Him. (Wali al-yatim): The one who manages the orphan's affairs and provides for him.

Helper and ally.
مُحبٌّ تابع، مطيع، من توالت طاعته من غير تخلّل عِصْيان

A loving follower, obedient, one whose obedience is continuous without interruption by disobedience.
محسن

Benefactor.

(قص) مَنْ يتحمَّل مخاطر الإنتاج، فله الغُنْمُ وعليه الغُرْم.

The entrepreneur who bears the risks of production, thus being entitled to profit and liable for loss.
