وَصِيَّة

ج وَصِيّات ووَصَايَا :

pl. waṣiyyāt and waṣāyā:

ما يُوصَى به

🇬🇧 Translation:

That which is bequeathed or enjoined

وثيقة يُعْلِن فيها الشخص إرادته الأخيرة وكيفية توزيع أمواله بعد موته

🇬🇧 Translation:

A document in which a person declares their final will and how their property is to be distributed after death

شريعة ملزمة، قواعد سلوك يجب الالتزام بها

🇬🇧 Translation:

Binding law, codes of conduct that must be adhered to

🇬🇧 Translation:

The Ten Commandments of Almighty God to Moses, peace be upon him, on Mount Sinai
General bequests: bequests covering all possessions, both chattels and real estate.

(قن) وثيقة تصدرها محكمة إثبات الوصايا يُعطى بموجبها منفِّذ الوصية حق التصرف فيها

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Law) Letters probate: a document issued by a probate court granting the executor the right to administer the estate

الوَصِيَّة الواجبة

(فق) الوصيَّة التي تكون في حدود الثُّلث، بشرط أن يكون مستحقّها غير وارث.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Islamic Jurisprudence) Compulsory bequest: a bequest within the limit of one-third [of the estate], provided that the recipient is not an heir.

محكمة إثبات الوصايا

(قن) محكمة مختصة بإثبات الوصايا وإدارة التركات.

🇬🇧 Translation:

(Law) Probate court: a court specialized in proving wills and administering estates.

" {كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ إِنْ تَرَكَ خَيْرًا الْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ} "

" {Prescribed for you when death approaches any of you if he leaves wealth [is] that he should make a bequest for the parents and near relatives} "
