مف مِقْلاد : مفاتيح

Sing. miqlād: Keys, control, reins.

فوَّضها إليه.

🇬🇧 Translation:

He entrusted them to him.

" سُلِّمت إليه مقاليدُ الحُكم/ الأمور : أصبح حاكمًا أو رئيسًا
{لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ} : والمراد : مفاتيح خزائنهما من المطر والنبات وغيرهما "

"The reins of government/affairs were handed over to him: he became a ruler or president
{To Him belong the keys [control] of the heavens and the earth}: Meaning: the keys to their storehouses of rain, vegetation, and others"
